Logan Regional Medical Center is proud to announce Robert Craft as the latest recipient of the BEE Award, which stands for “Beyond Exceptional Expectations.” This award honors exceptional team members outside of the nursing staff who consistently provide extraordinary support and service to patients, families, and fellow employees.
Robert’s nomination highlights his dedication and versatility in supporting Logan Regional’s surgical department. As described in his nomination, “Robert may not be involved in direct patient care, but without his services, the surgical department would not have the supplies they need.” In his role, Robert seamlessly steps into various capacities, including transporter, housekeeping, maintenance, and materials. His role as a friend and reliable teammate to many colleagues has also not gone unnoticed. “I have seen many staff rely on Robert for so many different reasons,” his nominator shared, “Not to mention he has at least 30 women coming to him on a daily basis needing something.”
The BEE Award was established in 2023 by the nurses at Logan Regional Medical Center to formally recognize and honor staff who contribute above and beyond their everyday responsibilities. This recognition is awarded throughout the year to those whose dedication and teamwork enhance the quality of care that Logan Regional Medical Center provides.
Just as the Daisy cannot survive without the Bee, the nurses cannot thrive without the outstanding teamwork provided by other healthcare professionals. The BEE Award celebrates the indispensable role these team members play in supporting patient care and creating a positive environment for all.
Congratulations to Robert Craft, whose extraordinary service, commitment, and compassion are essential to the success of our team. We are grateful for his outstanding contributions and proud to honor him as a BEE Award recipient.
